STRENGTHS
- He is currently listed as the starting FS for the Zips…but for his best long term success beyond the collegiate level…his size & skill sets dictate the move to CB
- With the passing game so prolific at the NFL level…there are practically three starting CBs…in mentioning this…his best fit may be at slot/CB in NFL with his unique combination of skills and physicality
- Though he possesses a smaller frame…his frame is an athletic one that can easily take on additional weight
- He displays an open compassion and competitiveness on the field versus opponents…which will be very much needed for a player of his size whose looking to take his game to the next level
- With his build…skill set…and competitiveness for the game…he similarly reminds me to former Ohio State and NFL/Pro Bowl CB “Antione Winfield”…with additional weight added of course
- He is a very aggressive player…who consistently seems to be around the ball…and tracking down ball carriers from all angles…which can be contributed to excellent football IQ…and pursuit angles on his path to the ball
- He displays the heart of a lion…who will come up and support the run with reckless abandon!…who consistently doesn’t back down from any oncoming ball carriers…no matter the size!
- He is not the one to shy away from contact…who plays with a physicality to his game…and likes to mix it up!
- Who is an excellent finisher on tackles…who looks to make a statement when he arrives…and packs a punch…pound for pound he is gridiron tough!
- A testament to his tackling skills would be the faith & confidence the coaching staff have in him…many times deploying him on blitzes throughout games
WEAKNESSES
- Less than ideal size by most
- He really needs to gain additional weight to take his game to another level

SUMMARY
- Despite his so called lack of size…the bottom-line is Davis is a ball player…who if keeps progressing with his game on the field…and adds the additional weight needed…will find himself playing beyond the collegiate level.
